I think a hospice death is less scarier for us survivors to accept, a peaceful transition to occur. Whereas a traumatic violent death is horrifying, so yeah, this type of death naturally scares us! For my sanity, I have to believe these transitions happen in a quick & painless second into a lovely dreamy place. I hope my transition happens peacefully at a “breath-taking” 🙂 gorgeous location, seeing the warm light & my late dogs happy to play with me. 🌈🌸
